Distribution Strategy decides when and through which channels to sell hotel rooms based upon an examination of the costs of attainment of the individual channel.

All of the costs of attainment of each nature channel will be calculated and computed previous to the hotel proves the list of channel allotment they will be using.

By using the right channel of distribution and driving industry to more cost-efficient channels during high demand phase hotels can make the most of their efficiency.

There is wide variety of channels a hotel can sell its rooms from side to side. The major ones which should be measured are Global Distributions Systems (GDS) and Consortia, Travel Agents and Tour Operators, OTAs, DMCs, Tourist Offices & Convention Bureaus. Not to forget Sales Representatives and of course the own (optimized) Hotel Website.
