What is the meaning / definition of Floatels?

The term Floatel, associates the word Float and Hotel and defines a hotel that is floating or above water that is generally lasting, contrary to a trip ship or boat. Sometimes also presaged Flotel, the term discusses to luxury or boutique hotels on rivers, lakes, harbours and oceans. They can be situated in the mid of the desert on a lake or on mega-metropolitan rivers.

Most Floatels are full-service and comprise a bar or restaurant, though flotels in mega-cities may not. The current Floatel can be accredited to the need of providing momentary housing to oil rig workers and natural disaster responders. Freshly built flotels, often have their own closed off swimming area for guests, or even have glass bottoms to view the environment below.

Hoteliers athwart the world have advanced these hotels to attract guests who like true and unique travel knowledges. They have also built these hotels to maximize space or use the minimal space the hotel has admittance to or owns. For example, thanks to the congested city, exclusive real estate and constructing limitations of Paris, the Paris government has allowed a few Floatels to operate on the Seine River.
