OTAs are online corporations whose sites allow customers to book numerous travel linked amenities directly via Internet.
They are 3rd party agents reselling trips, hotels, cars, flights, vacation packages etc. provided / organised by others.
Travel shopping via online agencies has become very prevalent nowadays. Particularly in the last-minute part and also because of the common usage of the smartphones. Today consumers are on-the-going and the benefit of a booking engine and the reservation descriptions provided by the OTAs is that it offers immediate payment and booking authorization.
